Accessibility statement
Draft. This text is a starting draft. It has not been reviewed by an attorney yet and may change. Last edited 2026-10-24.
We want everyone to be able to buy a ticket and watch a show. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, for the public pages, checkout and the viewer page. We have not yet had an independent audit, so we do not claim that every page meets that level today.
What we do
- Forms have labels, errors are written in plain text, and pages work with a keyboard.
- Pages respect the light and dark settings of your device, and animations respect "reduce motion".
- Tickets are sent as email text and a link, as well as a QR code, so they do not depend on an image.
- Captions: organizers can attach WebVTT caption files to a stream, and the player has a captions button when a file exists. Pre-recorded captions are best suited to replays and to shows with a script.
- Live captions: an organizer who books a live captioner (CART) can add a link, and the viewer page then shows "Live captions available at" that link. We do not provide automatic live captions yet.
- Audio description is not available yet.
Accessible seating
Where an event has reserved seating, organizers are responsible for holding accessible and companion seats and releasing them under the rules that apply to them. If you cannot use the online flow, contact the organizer (their details are on your confirmation) and they can help you by phone or email.
Tell us about a problem
If something on Venue Vision is hard to use, write to [contact email] with the page, what you were trying to do and the device or assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within 5 business days and to offer another way to get what you need.
